Fedora
From OpenSSI
Just some tips for Fedora Core users.
DRBD
The OpenSSI initrd image mounts DRBD before pivot root. This works fine in SSI-1.2.x, but SSI-1.9.x users might run into problems that look like /bin/ln, /bin/rm: Permission denied and e2fsck /initrd/dev/drbd0 failure. We're looking into this.
Permission denied problems were due to broken /bin/mount. FIXED in CVS.
Fedora Core 3
To solve the error "Kernel Panic - Not syncing: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel", right after running install remake initrd using --cfs. Best way is to use mkinitrd command.
FC2 + OpenSSI 1.2.2 + DRBD Root Failover
Please visit the FC2 DRBD Root Failover HOWTO, which details the exact steps to set up a 2-node cluster on Fedora Core 2 with OpenSSI 1.2.2 and DRBD root fs failover.
